Commissioned by the Walden Trio and premiered at Carnegie Recital Hall in New York on Oct. 13, 1974. Other notable performances include: Oct 10,1976 by the Walden Trio at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC / May 3, 1985 by the NJ Chamber Music Society, Fred Sherry (cello), Peggy Schecter (flute), Bernice Silk (piano).
